Paul is a Partner in a boutique corporate finance company specialising in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions pertaining to owner-managed businesses, including business grooming (preparation for sale).  He is a specialist in handling transactions from the initial preparation of the Information Memorandum and undertaking the necessary research through to approaching potential buyers, managing negotiations, due diligence and supervising the legal and taxation advisers - thereby maximising the chances of a successfully completed transaction.

Paul has handled transactions in a number of sectors, including IT, biotechnology, food manufacture, corporate hospitality and event management.  All matters are handled in the utmost confidence and with discretion.  Paul's skills ensure that, throughout the transaction, the business owner is able to maintain full focus on what he does best - running his business.  Paul firmly believes in building long-term relationships with his clients and these values are never compromised in favour of a fee-earning opportunity.

Career Background

A senior financial manager with experience of working in blue-chip and owner-managed organisations.  Has held senior financial positions within Ladbrokes Plc, Rio Tinto Plc, Lombard Bank Plc and Trace Group Plc.  Has spent significant time working overseas (Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan and throughout Europe) and more recently spent a year as interim Managing Director in Mumbai, India, within Publicis Groupe SA - the worlds second largest media conglomerate quoted on both Paris and New York exchanges.

As a Chartered Accountant having worked in numerous sectors and jurisdictions, Paul is well-placed to utilise his experience assisting SME owners achieve their ultimate objective.

A senior finance executive with diverse experience in both quoted and unquoted organisations.

He is a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming - the study of human excellence), having studied with Paul McKenna Training, and believes this can be used effectively by business owners to help identify and achieve their goals.

On a personal level he is an avid yoga student, which he practices in conjunction with meditation on a regular basis.  He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi and has basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
